Texas Road Trip

When Chavez was little we would take him to Pow Wows. Well we haven't been to any in many moons, so Pops saw there was going to be one in Lubbock. We decided to go on a road trip to the Pow Wow and make some stops along the way.
The first place we stopped was Luchenbach Texas!! What a small small small town!! Here is the picture of the whole town!!

The Pow Wow was smaller than what we thought it would be so we didn't stay there very long.

Since we were in Lubbock we met up with a family friend that lives there. Conner Newhouse and his family, Brandi and Gavin. We went to lunch and Jett and Gavin had a great time there. Afterward they brought Gavin to the hotel to swim with Jett. Jett and Gavin had played toghether before when Jett and I had gone to Lubbock for Conner and Brandi's wedding in February.

Jett Loves Boobies!!

I work at JetBlue. We do some community service, one of the things we did this year was the Breast Cancer Awareness Walk!! Our name was ......Jet Boobies of course!! Ha Ha Since we had shirts made up I had Jetts say "Jett loves Boobies" instead of just Jet Boobies!! Jett loves that shirt. He would go around telling everyone what his shirt said!! It was cute and funny!!

More Catching up!!

Also while we were in Utah we had fun with our friends Stacy, Keaia, Micaela, Dante, April, Dominic, Nikki, and Dawson.
We went to Kesaia's graduation in St. George and had a fun time with her and her family. Her mom is Stacy and Micaela and Dante are her siblings. Stacy and I met at SkyWest also. We became great friends and the rest is history. I try to keep up with my long lost friends!! Sometimes its hard but we try to keep in touch and watch the kids grow.

It was my other good friend April's birthday that trip. So we took her son Domini, her sister Nikki and her son Dawson and Stacy came also on a trip to Park City. We had a great time swimming and playing.

Unfortunately we don't have any pictures from that trip!! Not sure why we didn't get any on that one. We loved to travel so Im sure we will go to Utah again and get some pictures. The pictures I did get of Jett that trip were when we went to City Creek Mall.

 Lunch with the Fangupos:
Ok so back in May (i think) Jett and I went to Utah. We love going and seeing friends and family. While we were there we had lunch with my good friend Monica and her kids. Monica and I met in 2004 or somewhere around there. We were at the group interview for SkyWest Airlines. We got the job and started our training together. We even became supervisors together, needles to say we got along real well and even went on trips together or I would stay at her house. She had a cute little family then, just one child Makai. She now has 5 kids and is still the same sweet lady even though life has thrown a lot of curve balls her way!! Anyway I finally got to meet up with Monica this time and have lunch to catch up!! You would have thought that Jett and her kids had known each other their whole lives!! They had the best time playing with each other at the Chic-fil-a playground. When we were leaving Mone asked if Jett could sleep over. Those boys had the best time and didn't want it to end. Mone I promise next time we are in town you and Jett can have a sleep over!!

WWE Smackdown

So I know I'm way behind again, there are things I said I was going to blog about but havent yet. But before I get to those, let me tell you what we did last Tuesday night.

Jett watches WWE Wrestling with Grandaddy!! I saw that they were coming here to Houston and thought I'd take Jett. I looked into tickets but they seemed to expensive and I wasn't sure John Cena, Jett's favorite wrestler, would even be there so I said forget it. Then a few days later I heard on the radio that Cena would be there, so I decided to go. So last Tueday August 7, 2012 Jett, Grandaddy, Shane, Chavez, J'leeta Marie, and I went to Wrestling. Jett loved it at first but then got bored and tired. Then at the very very very end John Cena came out to wrestle!! Jett got really really excited!! He had a great time!! I used to know some guys that worked for WWF/WWE...I haven't heard from them or seen them in years. While we were there I thought I saw Nick the guy I used to know, but seeing as we were so high up I couldn't really tell. I wanted to go down to the floor but never did, so after I tried but still couldnt get down to the floor. JM said "just look him up on Facebook, everybody is on Facebook." She was right, I looked up my friend Nick Daw and found him. Longer story short, Nick is getting us tickets to go again, so next week we will get to go to wrestling again, maybe twice!! Gotta love the things we do for our kids!!
